How to Configure and Style Author Box #

Author Box is a feature commonly found in website post layouts. It displays an author data.

How to Activate Author Box #

To use this Sastra Addons element, find the ‘Author Box‘ element from the Search option under the ‘ELEMENTS‘ tab. Simply just Drag & Drop the ‘Author Box’ into the ‘Drag widget here‘ or the ‘+’ section.

After you are successfully done with this step, this is how the element is going to look like.

How to Configure the Content Settings #

To configure the content of your Author Box, simply click on the ‘Content’ tab.

General #

From General section, you can change arrange and alignment. You can use toggle for enable or disable show avatar, show name, show title, show biography and show author posts link.

Besides, you can use drop-down for change name HTML tag, set name link, change title HTML tag, set title link and many more.

How to Style Author Box #

To customize Author Box, click on the ‘Style’ tab, and you will find many different options here.

Avatar #

From here, you can change image size and distance. You can use toggle for enable/disable center image vertically. Moreover, you can add shadow and styling border as well.

Name #

From this section, you can set name color, typography, top distance and bottom distance.

Title #

In title section all similar option to name section.

Biography #

From biography section, you can change biography color, typography and distance.

Author Posts Link #

From here, you can set color, background color and border color with hovered and normal options. Also you can change typography, transition duration and padding.

Besides, you can styling border as well.
