How to Configure and Style Custom Field #

Custom Field allows users to display additional data or information beyond the standard fields provided by a platform or application. It offers flexibility for tailoring content and organizing information according to specific needs or preferences.

Let’s check out the step by step guidelines below to configure and style Custom Field:

How to Activate Custom Field #

To use this Sastra Addons element, find the ‘Custom Field‘ element from the Search option under the ‘ELEMENTS‘ tab. Simply just Drag & Drop the ‘Custom Field’ into the ‘Drag widget here‘ or the ‘+’ section.

After you have successfully done with step 1, this is how the element is going to look like.

Note: Only after Content > General > selecting a custom field will the text of that custom field appear.

How to Configure the Content Settings #

Under the content tab, you will see several options like ‘General’ . You can configure these settings to customize the content of your Custom Field.

General #

In this section, you have the option to utilize a drop-down menu to pick a custom field. Additionally, you can utilize the drop-down menu to designate one of these as your callback (filter): Default, Checkbox and TrueFalse Selection. Following that, you can utilize a toggle switch to hide or display the field if the value is empty.

Furthermore, you can select an extra icon based on your preference, define icon text, and adjust alignment settings.

How to Style Custom Field #

To customize Custom Field, click on the ‘Style’ tab, and you will find many different options here.

Custom Field Style #

From this section, you can adjust field color, background color, border color, typography, margin, and padding. Additionally, you can apply styling to the border.

Extra Icon #

In this area, you have the option to define the color of the icon. Following that, you can utilize a slider bar to adjust the size and spacing of the icon, ensuring compatibility across all devices.
