How to Configure and Style Post Meta #
Post Meta is a small tool often found on blogs. It displays metadata about individual posts, such as the date of publication, author name, categories and tags.
How to Activate Post Meta #
To use this Sastra Addons element, find the ‘Post Meta‘ element from the Search option under the ‘ELEMENTS‘ tab. Simply just Drag & Drop the ‘Post Meta’ into the ‘Drag widget here‘ or the ‘+’ section.
After you are successfully done with this step, this is how the element is going to look like.
How to Configure the Content Settings #
To configure the content of your Post Meta, simply click on the ‘Content’ tab.
General #
From General section, you can change list layout type. You can use drop-down for select element, taxonomy, display type and set separator. You can use toggle for enable/disable wrap with link.
Besides, you can choose your preferred icon and set extra text as well. To add more elements, simply click on the ‘+ ADD ITEM’ button from the bottom.
How to Style Post Meta #
To customize Post Meta, click on the ‘Style’ tab, and you will find many different options here.
List Style #
From here, you can change list gutter and alignment with supported devices. Also you can use toggle for enable/disable show dividers and disable last item dividers.
Elements (Date, Comments, Author) #
From here, you can set color, typography, transition duration and avatar border radius as well.
Taxonomy (Categories, Tags, etc..) #
From this section, you can set color, background color and border color with hovered and normal options. You can change typography, padding and margin.
Moreover, you can styling to border and border radius as well.
Extra Icon #
From here, you can set icon color, size and spacing.
Extra Text #
From here, you can set text color, typography and distance.
