How to Configure and Style Recent Post List #

Recent Post List displays a list of the most recent blog posts on a website. It typically includes the post titles with post link. This widget helps users quickly navigate and explore the latest content published on the site

How to Activate Recent Post List #

To use this Sastra Addons element, find the ‘Recent Post List‘ element from the Search option under the ‘ELEMENTS‘ tab. Simply just Drag & Drop the ‘Recent Post List’ into the ‘Drag widget here‘ or the ‘+’ section.

After you have successfully done with step 1, this is how the element is going to look like.

How to Configure the Content Settings #

Under the content tab, you will see several options like ‘List’ & ‘Settings’  . You can configure these settings to customize the content of your Recent Post List.

List #

From this section, you can choose the ‘Source’ of your list from where the contents will be retrieved and displayed. You can use the drop-down to select one of these as your source: Posts, Pages, Landing pages, Products & Custom Post Selection. Besides, you can set the number of ‘Item Limit’.

Settings #

From this section, you can change layout. Than you can use toggle for hide or display featured image, list icon, content and meta. If list icon is enable than you can choose icon as per your preference, same way show meta is enable than you can use toggle for hide or display author, date and category.

Moreover, you can change meta position, title HTML tag and alignment. Also you can choose author, date and category icon as per your preference.

How to Style Recent Post List #

To customize Recent Post List, click on the ‘Style’ tab, and you will find many different options here.

List #

From this section, you can change margin, padding, background, background hover color, transition duration and styling to border. You can use toggle for enable or disable advanced style. If advanced style is enable than you can change margin and border style for first item and second item.

Others #

From ‘Title’ section, you can change title color hoverd and normal options and change typography.

From ‘Icon & Feature Image’ section, you can change icon color and use drop-down for image hover animation. Moreover, you can use slider bar for font-size, line-height and margin right with supported all devices.

From ‘Meta’ section, you have the ability to adjust typography, color, spacing, meta icon color and much additional customization.
